Aeon Tree

I envision Aeon Tree as the banyan in that its branches "send out adventitious roots to the ground and...cause the tree to spread over a wide area." (dictionary.com)

Aeon Tree is a friend-centric environment founded on contributions from others. Sharing, rather than competition, led to the amazing success of the Human Genome Project, for example, far exceeding anyone's expectations.

In practicum, the Aeon Tree project would utilize willing volunteers from all backgrounds of life to contribute what they can to the realization of a vast social network suite of applications. From online sharing of information to campus classroom bulletin boards, Aeon Tree is far more than just a computer program. Anyone with a skill to share would find a profitable niche within Aeon Tree for even the smallest drop in the bucket makes a wave.
